Somerset Shooting Ground is a CPSA registered venue which offers shooters of all abilities enjoyable yet challenging clay pigeon shooting amongst the iconic Glastonbury Festival site, in the idyllic countryside between Shepton Mallet and Glastonbury.
Somerset Shooting Ground was establish in early 2019 by Robin Heal. With a focus on variety, our aim is that no two shoots will be the same. Whether you shoot with us regularly or it is your first time, we hope you leave us wanting to come back again and again.
Robin has decades of game and clay pigeon shooting experience, in many different disciplines. His experience, alongside his eye for unique targets, combined with the undulating terrain of the shooting ground means we can provide CPSA registered ESP and FITASC competitions for shooters of all abilities.
All of our competition traps are proudly supplied by Bowman Traps. Their reliability and easy to use system means that we can regularly change the course. If we do experience a rare trap breakdown it allows us to rectify it as quickly as possible to minimise disruption to your shooting.
